I'm always interested in helping out if there is a problem you have encountered where you need something specific that you can't make/can't find/is too expensive to buy. Drop me a line and let's see. I like solving things and will ultimately add anything new to my list of 'things' that I can make and supply to others. So, something novel does not have to be super expensive.

If I can do it, you could get something bespoke at a sensible cost.

I have a couple of 3d printers, a diode laser, CNC machine and wood turning lathe and so from templates to jigs to bespoke wooden control knobs I can often help.

My aim is high quality at low volume work with good communication and always, attention to detail.

Anything "interesting" is approached with enthusiasm and I have a desire to grow by reputation and word of mouth.

I don't have staff, my workshop is at home and my advertising beyond the website is in the form of happy people telling others. You only pay for time and materials. My enthusiasm is free!

Pickups.

I make pickups from scratch. Typically I'll have a few on the shelf ready to go, simple takes on traditional passive designs. I don't have the imagination (or maybe confidence!) to come up with cool names 😜

I would love to wind the pickups that you want for the guitar you are building. The whole process happens here and can happily accommodate what you want

I'll cut the flatwork to your design, assemble the bobbins and wind with 42/43/44 AWG poly on a on a Mojotone pickup winder before optional wax potting. I can vacuum pot too if desired.

I can be quite flexible and will happily cut flatwork to your design 4/6/7 poles etc. with engraved branding etc.

I can assemble bobbins with different heights between top and bottom flats or wider/narrower flatwork to adjust the nature of the available winding area.

Customised stuff isn't expensive at all, happy to chat and cost with you.

I can put together Strat/Tele style single coils as well as P90's and Humbuckers.

Other passive pick up types such as Firebird mini humbuckers are possible.

I have built a dedicated guitar for quick pickup charges so it is easy to test by ear before dispatch.

As of late 2026, I am working towards an exciter coil and generating bode plots.
