Hand crafted Electric Guitars.

Commission a bespoke build and be an integral part of the journey from the start. Have a look at the selection of woods available for the body, decide what pick ups to go for, how they are wound, make choices about the hardware. There is quite a bit of scope as to how you can make the guitar yours.

A selection of commission builds.

This is a great idea as a gift for someone special. Any reason will do. It could be a special birthday, an anniversary.

"Just because!" is a very good reason.

It is difficult, when gifting something special, to be sure you have got the fine details right. I am more than happy to take the time to discuss the details, to create something personal. This is particularly significant if you want to do something special but don't know a lot about guitars.

Have look at the selection of wood I have in for bodies and tops at present. Can you see any of these becoming your future guitar?

If a current build catches your eye, it may be possible to take control of its future and choose pick up design, positioning, hardware, decal, engraving etc.

How it works:

Simply get in touch. We can chat by phone or email and from there establish what you want to achieve. We can look at materials, what wood stock I have in or what we may source for you. We can look at the style of guitar and consider hardware. We also need to discuss the options surrounding pick ups. I can hand wind some very nice pick ups and because everything happens here there is a significant saving over the cost of buying a mass produced pick up.

A custom built guitar will start from £1000. Cost is simple - labour and materials. Expect the base costs for the wood for the body, the neck, hardware etch start at £400. If you spec up the hardware, then total cost rises.

Total time required to build will easily exceed 50 hours and expect the process to take around 3 months.

A deposit of £50 is required to secure the build slot. This is non-refundable. The next payment is due once materials and hardware have been selected and is set at the cost required to cover materials and P&P. Final payment is due on completion.

During the course of the build I will keep you regularly updated with images and footage of the build progress.
