"Anto, this is class"

I was back home in Ireland in the summer of 2022 and got to hook up with an old friend. We were in the same running club as teenagers, coached by a great guy named Rory Friel. Happy Days!
Finbar currently has a group called Raised on Rock (check them out) and so I was round having a nose at his various guitars. In the corner he had an old 1980's Tokair Goldsound, safely stored in a black plastic bag. He wondered if I was up for refurbishing it. It had seen a good life, frets werealmost flush with the fretboard, tuners were broken, pick ups were very microphonic. I could go on and on.

I took it home with me and over the next few months carried out a complete refurb. Sorted the tuners, re-fretted, made some new pick ups looking for scooped mids, new wiring harness .... The works. the only thing I didn't manage to do was back up the final images of the completed project!
