Bath Rotary Club Rondel
"Hi Anthony,
Thank you so much for producing a facsimile Rotary Rondel for affixing to our President’s Name Board.
As you know the Board records the names of over 100 Presidents and is an essential and precious part of our Regalia and Archive.
Sadly, the Rondel which stood proud of the Board, was damaged beyond repair and we were at a loss as to how we might replace such a bespoke item. You were able to take the pieces of the damaged Rondel and reproduce a new version which sit beautifully on our Board and looks indistinguishable from the original. How you managed it, I have no idea but you obviously have a talent and expertise which allows you to produce such excellent work. The Rotary Club of Bath is in your debt.

This one is a Glover Custom Guitars job but nothing to do with guitars!
In my main job I was very fortunate to have worked with a wonderful human being and brilliant lab technician called David Broughton. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Bath. From him I heard that the members board was unfortunately damaged in accident.
He knew I was into building guitars and was wondering how he might be able to recreate the broken Rondel, possibly with 3d printing.
This is the final result.
There were one or two iterations but we got there in the end!
It was an engaging process and one I was happy to do for free. David was a kind man and one who was always more than happy to help others.
